This is my son Keegan and I. He turned five last winter. He loves to fish with Daddy and is excited to eat anything daddy catches or shoots! I have been bass fishing intensely since 1997, and have fished in the Minnesota BASS Federation (97-01), as a part time bass guide (99-03), fished in the Denny's Super 30 professional circuit (02-03), and Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail in 04-07. My partner and I logged our first win on Clearwater Lake on June 11, 2005 in addition to several other top ten finishes! Life is different with a family, and days on the water never seem like enough. But rest assured, I am in touch with the fish, and I can help any level of angler have a great day on the water. I work hard to give you the opportunity to have a fun and educational day on the water catching fish as well as learning new fishing techniques. My favorite techniques to teach are crankbaiting weedlines, jig-worming weedwalls, carolina rigging rockpiles, and dropshotting. |

During the late fall and early winter, I spend a lot of time in the field with my weimaraner Kode hunting the elusive ringneck pheasant. There's nothing quite like seeing a hunting dog using its God-given abilities and senses, locking up on point, and retrieving its prey. It's a beautiful thing. The rest of the offseason, I spend building ice rods, ice fishing, scouting with the Aquaview and looking forward to softwater. Hopefully this will create some new fishing opportunities come summer. During the late winter and spring (February to May) is when I spend the most time building softwater rods. Beat the rush and order now! Fish ON! |
